I absolutely LOVE this picture. It makes me smile everytime I see it, despite knowing the end that met this beautiful creature. This pictire truly exemplifies the beauty that was brigadier.
I just wanted to let PC Kevin Bradfield and PC Ron Gilbert know my heart goes out to them and realize just how much they must be hurting after this terrible tragedy of Brigadier . I am the daughter of one of the retired inspectors of the Mounted Unit and was brought up as a teenager around the Mounted Police and their horses. I was very fortunate to be able to have the opportunity to ride these presious animals and saw how much love and devotion these men gave to them on a daily basis.
I am however, appalled at the charge that was given to the person who hit Brigadier and PC Kevin Bradfield. The intention of this horrible man was obviously to injure or kill these two and unfortunately this did happen to one of them in this terrible accident. I believe that this person should be charged with attempted murder, but instead just got a slap on the wrist. That shows you how messed up our court system is. It should definately be changed.
